About the webinar on developing foreign economic relations with the Moscow region.


As part of the diplomatic mission's support to inter-regional bilateral cooperation in the context of the coronavirus pandemic, a webinar was held on 21 January 2021 on the prospects for the development of foreign economic relations between the Moscow region and its Portuguese partners.

A.Loginov, Deputy Minister of Investment, Industry and Science of the Government of the Moscow region, B.Cota, President of the Portuguese-Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCILR) S.Bilous, Secretary General, and S.Baldin, Head of the Embassy's economic team, participated in the online conference.

Possible areas of Russian-Portuguese cross-regional agenda were discussed during the meeting, proceeding from the investment potential of the Moscow Region and priorities of export-oriented enterprises of the Moscow Region aimed at cooperation with Portuguese businessmen in such sectors as food industry, hotel business, tourism, infrastructure development and some other areas.

As a result of the event, it was agreed to hold, with the support of RZU, a distance workshop for companies in the Moscow region interested in establishing contacts with the Portuguese business community.
