On June 30, 2021, the collection of the Museu da Farmácia in Lisbon was enriched with a new exhibit - samples of the Russian Sputnik V, the first registered vaccine in the world created in our country based on the well-studied human adenovirus vector platform.
Factory packages with two "Sputnik V" components were delivered in a festive atmosphere to the Director of the Pharmacy Museum, the President of the Portuguese Museums Association J. Neto by V.S. Yaroshevsky, the cultural counselor of the Embassy.
The staff of the diplomatic mission, compatriots and representatives of the board of the Luso-Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry attended the ceremony.
In an interview with the national TVI channel, J.Neto noted with satisfaction that he was "happy to have added a new artifact to the Museum's exhibition - the Sputnik V vaccine, the first in the world, which was announced by the Russian president," and thanked the diplomatic mission for their openness and assistance in obtaining samples of the medical preparation.
