Lisbon held a meeting of the Economic Council for After Russia


The event was attended by the heads of the leading structures for the development of bilateral business relations: Chairman of the Council of Entrepreneurs Russia-Portugal P.F. Petrovsky, Honorary Representative of the Russian Chamber of Commerce in Portugal I.A. Zolkin, President of the Portuguese-Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry B. Cota.

During the meeting, the sides discussed the prospects for building new mechanisms of cooperation in the post-pandemic period. Particular attention is paid to the search for areas in demand for the implementation of joint mutually beneficial projects, the purpose of which is to increase the volume of Russian-Portuguese trade.

Ambassador M.L. Kamynin called on the parties to unite their efforts, using the experience and successful examples of partnership of past years, expanding the interregional dialogue to make a transition to innovative methods of work, based on the scientific, technological and investment potential of the two countries, in particular, focusing on this vector as the digitalization of the economies of Russia and Portugal.
