The ranking 2022 of the "Great Place to Work", highlighted 50 companies, between SMEs and larger companies, in which the technology sector was the one that emerged in greater evidence. The methodology evaluates the companies with the highest index of confidence and the best practices, among five size categories, up to 50 and more than 1000 employees.
In the ranking up to 50 employees, information technology companies occupy six positions among the top ten, including the first place awarded to Anturio. As for the companies between 501 and a thousand employees, Cisco Systems is once again in the lead, followed by Noesis Portugal. In companies with more than one thousand employees, the ranking is led by Capgemini Portugal.
The Great Place to Work lists have been in existence for more than three decades, in about 100 countries, and their recognition of the best companies to work for focuses primarily on the opinion of employees and the evaluation of people management practices. The analysis, confidential and voluntary, evaluates the organizational environment and the experience of employees in the following dimensions: credibility, respect, fairness, pride, and camaraderie.
"The list or ranking should be seen as a consequence and never as an end in itself. It is a consequence of the organizations' work in creating a climate of trust and valuing human capital. Thus, participation in our study should be understood as a diagnostic tool, which will not only lead to improvements in work environments and relationships, but also in business and financial results. "says Mauricio Korbivcher, CEO & Country Manager of Great Place to Work in Portugal.
